Rinari docs
Install the desktop app, connect a model and learn how Rinari works with your projects — in the app and in the terminal.
Every star is a page. Pick one.
Get started
- IntroductionWhat Rinari is — one engine with two clients, a terminal CLI and a desktop app — and what you can do with it.
- Install on WindowsDownload the Rinari Agent installer, choose its options — including Add Rinari CLI to PATH — and keep it updated, repaired or uninstalled.
- Connect a providerAdd a model provider, test the connection, discover models and give them an alias you can pick in the composer.
- First projectOpen a folder, decide whether to trust it, write your first request and follow the work in the timeline and the workspace panel.
Working with Rinari
- ModesChoose how Rinari approaches a task. Each mode runs under its own engine-enforced permissions, not a different prompt.
- Approvals and permissionsWhat Rinari can do on her own, what asks first, how to answer an approval and how to review what you allowed for good.
- Full accessWhat Full access lets Rinari do in a conversation, what she still asks about, the confirmation before turning it on and how to turn it off.
- Live checklistIn multi-step work Rinari keeps a list above the composer with what she did, what she's doing and what's left — and the engine keeps her to it.
- VerificationHow Rinari records evidence — tests, lint, type checks, builds — and why a task only counts as DONE when that evidence says so.
- NotesWhen Rinari spots something worth doing outside what you asked, she leaves a note. Seeing it starts nothing; accepting it opens a new conversation with the task.
- DictationTalk to Rinari instead of typing. Dictation runs on your computer with whisper.cpp — no audio is sent to any service.
- CLI ↔ desktopOpen the current folder or a specific session in Rinari Agent with rinari desktop, and how the command finds the app.
Workspace
- ProfilesEach Rinari profile is a workspace with its own projects and conversations, and a way of working — personality, mode and models per agent.
- Projects with several foldersOne project can span several folders — an app and its website, a backend and its client — each with its own branch and its own trust.
- Boards and FlowsWork several sessions side by side with Boards, let their agents message each other safely, and read how a conversation advanced in Flows.
- BrowserWatch the real Chromium page Rinari's engine is driving, take control of it yourself and hand it back.
- SubagentsThe specialist agents Rinari delegates to, what they inherit, how to inspect their activity and how to give each one its own model.
- MemoryWhat Rinari remembers about you across conversations — when she asks first, when she saves on her own, and how to review, export or import it.
- PersonalityRinari's voice — how much character she shows, the default Soul, how to create your own, and what personality can never change.
